Struggling with how to explain social media to people who don’t yet get it?

While hunting around for multimedia content to include in a presentation I am giving next month to mostly social web novices, I discovered this nifty flash-based video tutorial about social media by VizEdu (@SandeepVizEdu).  I am not at all crazy about the computer-generated narration, but the visuals and explanation are quite good, and the tutorial will definitely appeal to my audience.

I particularly like the final line: “…social media is the fusion of technology and social behavior.”
